0 phase

Postby Chris » Fri Aug 05, 2005 2:15 pm

I was wondering how to get rid of a 0 phase on my one way arterial. I have my phase 2 coded in going the correct way on the one way arterial but I'm getting a 0 phase going the opposite direction. This is ok in most situations, but occasionally I cannot code a split less then some default time in has for the zero phase. Any suggestion?

I am running the latest version and have coded the arterial as one way.

Hi, Chris.

It sounds like a bug in the software. For one-way streets, it's not supposed to worry about phases in the forbidden direction. I tried to replicate the error, but we must be doing something different.

Would you email me the file in question, and also indicate which intersection is showing the problem, so I can reproduce it and get it fixed (or at least report back to you what can be done)?

Thanks.

Hi, Chris.

Ver. 6.0.0.44, now on the web site, fixes this problem. Thanks for reporting it and sending the file to demonstrate it. It occured in only very specific circumnstances.
