Arterial Diagrams

Postby LPotvin » Thu Jun 05, 2014 5:22 pm

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible, after you split an arterial diagram into two diagrams, if it can later be put back together into one diagram?

Thanks, Leslie

Hi, Leslie.

Using either the Network View or the Arterial Outline View, I think if you drag the end intersection of one artery to the end of the other, then one of the options is to join the two arteries to make one diagram.

As a rule, when you drag an intersection to another like this, the software offers to create a link between the two intersections, and you get to specify what kind of link. In the special case that the two intersections are endpoints of their respective diagrams, and the software determines (based on direction of travel) that they might be parts of one longer artery, then one of the type of link options is "Arteries (Joining to make One Diagram)", as in "Link Arteries" (joining these intersections to make a longer artery).

Regards.
